Department for Enterprise's annual survey results
TT visitor numbers are the highest in nine years, according to a government study.
The Department for Enterprise carried out its annual visitor survey, showing a 4% rise in tourists.
This year more than 46,000 visitors (46,174) were recorded - with more than 64% returning fans.
It's the highest figure since the survey started in 2010.
Enterprise Minister Laurence Skelly spoke to Alex Wotton:
The findings show on average people stayed for between six and seven nights and spent £801 on their trip.
Therefore the overall estimated spend this year was £37.5 million, up from £37.1 million last year.
It's estimated around £27 million went into the local economy.
