A TT and Southern 100 competitor has thanked staff at Noble's Hospital who saved his life by presenting them with the trophy he won at TT 2009.
James McBride spent over three weeks in Noble's after crashing in the first practice session for last year's TT, and says he is only now feeling fully recovered from his injuries.
Back in action twelve months after the crash, he picked up a bronze trophy, awarded to riders whose finishing time is less than 110 percent of that recorded by the race winner, during this year's Superbike race.
James made the presentation to staff from Noble's following a week of racing in the Southern 100.
