Dave Moffitt crashed at Laurel Bank in qualifying
More than £7,000 has been collected for the family of TT racer Dave Moffitt who crashed during a qualifying session.
He came off at Laurel Bank, on 31 May, whilst practicing in the Supertwin class and was flown to Aintree University Hospital with ‘extensive injuries’.
TT organisers say he’s in a serious but stable condition - his family has confirmed he’s currently in an induced coma.
A Go Fund Me page has been set up to assist his family financially as they travel to and from the Isle of Man to see him.
Davy Moffitt, the racer’s son, has told Manx Radio the family is seeing improvement every day and has thanked people for their support:
