Race won't be brought forward!
TT organisers have moved to quash rumours about the Senior TT Race which is due to take place at the end of this week.
Paul Phillips of the Department of Economic Development’s motorsport team says he’s read a number of online rumours that that the race might have to be brought forward.
A number of people have taken to social media claiming rain forecast for Senior Race Day means the big race might be held on Thursday.
Mr Philliips tweeted to say it won’t.
Contingency plans for bad weather could mean the race is held a day later on Saturday, but there’d be no decision about that until the end of the week.
Keep being told Senior TT may/will be brought forward to Thursday. Just to confirm to anyone reading this, it won't.
