Rider's family issue statement after Laurel Bank crash
The TT rider who crashed during yesterday's practice session is due to be transferred to Aintree Hospital this morning.
Dave Moffitt came off at Laurel Bank last night, suffering extensive injuries and has been in intensive care overnight.
His family say he had surgery last night to stabilise him for the transfer flight to Liverpool.
The family has thanked well-wishers and say they will post when they know more about Dave's condition.
