Reward offered for treasured headwear
Two-time TT winner Gary Johnson has offered a reward for the return of a very special bit of kit.
Johnson, who’ll be racing a Triumph Daytona 675 for Team T3 Racing during this year’s festival, says he had his TT helmet stolen at the weekend.
The Grimsby racer, who’s been on the podium six times, says his special TT helmet was taken in Blackpool last night.
The custom lid is one of only two in existence, and the 35 year old has now offered a reward for its return.
Earlier today, he took to Twitter to launch this appeal:
Had my TT helmet stolen lastnight in Blackpool. Is one of only two that exist at the moment.
