A local charity helping young people with drug problems has become the first recipient of aid from a trust fund.
The Lockington Marshall Trust was established under the will of Bill Lockington Marshall to aid Manx charitable organisations.
Yesterday (Wednesday), a cheque for £4,500 was presented to the Drug Advice Service and Helpline by the Trustees, the Rotary Club of Douglas.
President of the Douglas Rotary Club Sam Alder says the donation will help tackle a problem he is familiar with:
