Daniel and David went to Houston thanks to ManSat
Earlier this summer, two Island sixth-formers went on the trip of a lifetime to attend the NASA United Space School in Houston.
It was all courtesy of ManSat Group - which provides a yearly scholarship for students who win a challenging essay competition.
This year's winners were Daniel Comley from Ramsey Grammar School and David Sargent from Queen Elizabeth II High School in Peel.
Together, along with other students from around the world, they were tasked with planning a crewed mission to Mars.
Daniel and David told Manx Radio it was an incredibly rewarding experience and it opened their eyes to the possibilities out there:
Man who launched attack on van driver sentenced
RNLI's last serving Mersey class boat visits the Island
Double victory for Island's heritage railways
Demolition work to get underway on Douglas high street site
