School in shock
A Douglas high school is mourning the sudden death of a long serving teacher.
Onchan man Tony Roberts, who taught business and economics at St Ninian's High School, passed away over the weekend.
The school's headteacher, Chris Coole, has this afternoon paid tribute to a 'well-respected member of [the] team, who will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him'.
In a short statement, he goes on to say the school is 'in shock', and that 'thoughts are very much with his wife at this time'.
