Harry Taverner died earlier this month
The funeral of a former head of Castle Rushen High School has taken place today.
Harry Taverner died earlier this month - he lead the school for over 22 years from 1976 until 1998.
As the third headteacher in the school's history he saw the implementation of GCSEs, and National Curriculum changes, and a considerable increase in pupil numbers.
