Kenny Hall gave an incredible 68 years of service
Tributes are being paid to a man who marshalled the TT and MGP for 68 years.
Kenny Hall died on 18 March aged 84.
His funeral service has been held today (8 April).
In a social media post, the board of the Isle of Man TT Marshals said they 'were saddened to hear of the recent passing of Kenny Hall'.
They said: "Kenny was a marshal with an incredible 68 years of service, and was a familiar face at his regular location in Ballaugh.
"We would like to send our condolences to his family and friends."
Similarly, photographer Richard Radcliffe contacted Manx Radio with a message this morning.
He said: "Today we shall say goodbye to Kenny Hall at Ballaugh church.
"He was one of the unsung heroes of the TT and MGP who was always there; rain or shine; doing his part to ensure that our beloved races could happen and never seeking any recognition for what he did.
"This picture is from an evening session last year; typically overcast and not very warm. He is there; flags at the ready; hoping that he will not be required.
"I wonder how many hours of his time he gave to the event during his 84 years and on how many photographs he appears in the background; unknown to those viewing the pictures.
"Ballaugh Bridge will not be the same without him."
