
Tributes are being paid to former Bishop of Sodor and Man Noel Jones who passed away on Friday evening.
He was 76 and had been fighting cancer for some time.
Former vicar of St Ninian, the Reverend Garth Grinham, had remained friends with him after he retired to Yorkshire in 2003.
He says Bishop Noel had been forward thinking during his ministry and had given him enthusiastic support for new or radical ideas.
