A member of the narrow gauge Groudle Glen Railway in the Isle of Man has been paying tribute to a well-known figure in the world of steam railways who passed away last week.
Richard Booth has been speaking following the death of James I C Boyd, who chronicled the history of Isle of Man railways.
Mr Boyd was deeply involved since the early 1950s with preserving Britain's railways, in particular those in Wales.
Richard says it seemed natural for James to write something about the Isle of Man.
