A 13 year-old Braddan boy, who touched the hearts of many people as he bravely battled a rare form of cancer, has passed away peacefully.
Two years ago Connor Steventon was diagnosed as having a desmoplastic small round cell tumour, which affects the soft cells, muscle and fat.
Following diagnosis he received chemotherapy treatment until it was decided to stop the treatment 18 months ago.
Carol Maddrell, Head of Marown School, where Connor was a pupil, says he was a very popular boy who forged lasting friendships with many of the children.
She has praised his great resilience and bravery during his illness.
