Steve Rodan to retire in July
Tributes have been paid to the 'colourful career' of the Tynwald President Steve Rodan.
He will retire on the 19 July after being elected to the role in 2016.
The Scotsman's Manx parliamentary career began in 1995 as MHK for Garff before serving as Speaker of the House of Keys for 10 years from 2006.
In Tynwald yesterday, at his last regular sitting of the court, current speaker Juan Watterson looked back at his career:
Mr Rodan thanked members and looked back at his fond memories in politics:
"We think it's inhumane the way he was treated."
