Trial for woman accused of possessing cocaine worth £3.8K

46-year-old denies intent to supply offences

A Kirk Michael woman will stand trial after being accused of possessing more than £3,800 worth of cocaine with intent to supply.

Elizabeth Amy Crowe, of Bishopscourt, denied two offences during an appearance at Douglas Courthouse.

The 46-year-old was allegedly found with almost 20 grams of the Class A drug, at The Saddle pub on 20 July, and almost 19 grams at a property she was at in Sulby the following day.

She also denied cultivating cannabis after being accused of having plants that could have a potential yield of up to £6,720.

Committal proceedings – where the case is elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery – will take place on 11 February.

She’s been bailed until that date.
