21-year-old appears at Douglas Courthouse
A Douglas man will stand trial after being accused of taking payment for construction work he failed to complete.
Tyler Kurt Dunsmore, of Mona Drive, appeared at Douglas Courthouse where he denied two counts of committing fraud by false representation.
The 21-year-old allegedly took a £460 deposit from a customer on 8 December but didn’t carry out any work or offer a refund.
The court heard, five weeks later on 14 January, he then took a deposit from a customer of £560 – again not carrying out the work or offering a refund.
A pre-trial review will take place on 13 June; he’s been bailed until that date.
