44-year-old denies being drunk and disorderly
A Douglas man will stand trial after being accused of making ‘very offensive comments’ - relating to the murders of police officers - whilst outside a Manx police station.
Jason Leo Brown, of Empress Drive, appeared at Douglas Courthouse where he denied being drunk and disorderly in Peel on 8 November.
The court heard the 44-year-old was allegedly an ‘absolute nuisance’ and despite being given numerous opportunities to leave did not do so.
A pre-trial review will take place on 21 December; he’s been bailed until that date.
Update: At a pre-trial review, at Douglas Courthouse on 21 December, Mr Brown was told he will stand trial on 21 February.
