Accused of leaving MDMA, cocaine and ketamine near Jurby lock-up
A husband and wife from Douglas will stand trial after denying attempting to introduce drugs and sim cards into the Isle of Man Prison.
Hayley and Owen Williams, of Springfield Drive, appeared at Douglas Courthouse where they entered not guilty pleas to four offences.
They’re both accused of being concerned in the supply of MDMA, ketamine and cocaine on 8 May; it’s alleged that the drugs, and two sim cards, were left in condoms near the Jurby facility.
Committal proceedings, where the case is elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery, will take place on 27 March.
Mrs Williams, who is 37, was remanded at the Isle of Man Prison; Mr Williams, who is 32, has been bailed.
