Speaker hits out at 'culture of secrecy' in the department
The Speaker of the House of Keys says there's something "fundamentally not right" with the way Treasury shares information.
Juan Watterson was critical of the department for not sharing more of its interim budget update sooner - saying it "treats Tynwald like mushrooms."
The Rushen MHK explained his comments to Manx Radio:
You can hear much more from Mr Watterson between midday and one today, when he and Lawrie Hooper reflect on this week's interim budget update:
Person suffers 'significant injuries' in 'serious assault' near Peel
Business case for horse trams to be put before Tynwald in July
Plans to turn 'underused space' in central Douglas into wellness retreat
Employment grievance 'upheld' against board of Peel Commissioners
