Treasury not planning to increase taxes again next year

That's despite Manx Care's projected overspend

The treasury minister says it's unlikely further tax rises will come in in next year's budget despite Manx Care's projected overspend.

It's after the healthcare provider announced plans to cut the amount of elective surgeries it carries out in a bid to save money.

A rise in the higher rate of income tax was implemented following February's budget, with the money being ring-fenced for healthcare.

But Alex Allinson told Manx Radio he's not currently planning to increase taxes again next year:
