Number out of work now stands below 600
Unemployment on the Isle of Man has fallen below 600.
That's according to Treasury Minister Alf Cannan, who gave an update on the figures on this lunchtime's Mannin Line.
At the end of April, there were 751 people registered out of work.
Mr Cannan stressed that the numbers are unaudited, but welcomed the fall:
Abuse towards bus drivers 'will not be tolerated'
Mountain Road closed due to snow and ice
Majority of rates going up for residents across the Island
