
The treasury minister denies an international ratings agency is being dropped by the Manx government because it recently downgraded the Isle of Man.
An article in the Daily Telegraph this weekend has suggested the decision to ask Standard and Poor's to stop its ratings has come about because of it downgrading the Island from AA+ to AA.
Speaking live on Manx Radio's Sunday Opinion programme, Treasury Minister Eddie Teare said getting rid of S&P was not motivated by the agency's move:
