Treasury is being ‘absolutely honest’ with the public about the state of government finances.

The minister says his department is 'in control' despite large reported overspends.

Manx Care is predicting a £16.8 million overspend for this financial year. 

It's something the chief minister has described as 'completely unsustainable'. 

Quarterly management accounts are due to be published in the next few weeks to show the level of income and expenditure.
