Goverment urged to follow Guernsey's lead
TravelWatch is once again urging the Manx government to look at getting rid of its open skies policy.
The passenger watchdog says it has long advocated 'light-touch regulation' to protect key routes.
It is highlighting the fact the States parliament in Guernsey has recently voted to maintain this approach, rather than opening up all its routes to unregulated competition.
TravelWatch's aviation spokesman, Terry Liddiard, says such an approach makes sense for the Isle of Man, too:
