
Manx Gas chiefs say they have learnt from experience and the process of converting up to 6,500 homes across the Island to natural gas should be a smooth one.
If Tynwald approves the move, the operation would see appliances in homes on mains gas inspected by officials to make sure they’ll work on the new fuel.
It could mean a reduction in gas bills for consumers.
