Training begins for Manx Care's first domestic violence advisor

It's hoped role will mean better support for victims

Victims of domestic abuse could soon have access to better support.

Manx Care is hoping to improve its services, as it looks to introduce the Island's first independent domestic violence advisor (IDVA).

Following a tough selection process, adult safeguarding nurse Jane McIlraith was picked to do the course over thousands of other applicants across the UK.

She and Head of Safeguarding Terri Bank have been speaking to Manx Radio's Amy Griffiths:
