A rider killed in last week’s Junior Manx Grand Prix had served in two tours of Iraq and two in Afghanistan.
Jamie Adam, 28, a Royal Navy petty officer, died due to massive blunt force trauma caused by injuries in a collision at Alpine Cottage.
At his inquest he was described as an experienced rider, as was 39 year-old Christopher John Bradshaw, the other competitor killed in the incident.
His death was also caused by massive blunt force trauma and multiple injuries.
Both hearings were adjourned for inquiries to continue.
