
The Viking Longboat Races gets underway in Peel while Douglas will see supercars and the Armed Forces Day Parade
A 30mph speed limit is in place on Richmond Hill between the Douglas City boundary and Speke Lane.
Motorists traveling northbound on the A5 towards Douglas will not be allowed to turn right or stop to drop off passengers on the road.
The restrictions are in place until Monday.
It's as the three-day Full Moon Festival is underway at Rosehill Farm just off Richmond Hill.
The annual event is a music and arts festival.
'ARMED FORCES'
Meanwhile, in Douglas, a section of the promenade will be closed this afternoon (28 June) for the Armed Forces Day parade.
The closure will be from the bottom of Victoria Street to Broadway between 1.30pm and 2.45pm.
'SUPERCAR ISLAND'
The Petrolheads Club will also be showing off their supercars and raising funds for Rebecca House this weekend.
Today, residents will get the chance to see the supercar selection on Douglas Promenade from 9.30am - 12.30pm.
Tomorrow (29 June), the vehicles will be available for viewing at the TT Grandstand for Supercar Sunday.
Both events are free to attend.
'VIKING LONGBOAT RACES'
The annual longboat races is also taking place in the west of the Island today.
Road closures will be in force from 11.30am until 6.30pm in the area of Water Glass Corner and the Tongue.
