Glenfaba MHK David Anderson says he is concerned that people who take a faith-based standpoint on issues such as same-sex relationships are in danger of becoming targets for abuse.
He was speaking after the second reading of the Civil Partnership Bill, about which he has some reservations.
Mr Anderson believes people should be able to live their lives as they see fit, but is concerned that those coming from a Christian perspective can sometimes be vilified for their views:
