Firefighters tackle Jurby blaze
A farm building was saved from serious damage in the early hours of this morning, after a tractor parked next to it caught fire.
Firefighters from Kirk Michael were called to the site in Jurby at around 3am, where they discovered the vehicle up in flames.
An additional water pump from Ramsey was required to tackle the blaze, which threatened to spread to a nearby structure.
But crews using breathing apparatus managed to bring the flames under control in the nick of time, before leaving the scene at half past four.
It's not known what caused the tractor to ignite.
