An eye-sore in Douglas town centre should be demolished in the next twelve months.
The Corporation owned Queen's Street flats, in Lord Street, near Quine's Corner, have fallen into a state of serious disrepair, and are to be replaced.
The pre-World War 2 block, joined onto the recently developed Hanover House, has only three tenants, who would be offered alternative accomodation.
The Corporation is in the process of appointing a design team for the project, which is likely to be debated at this week's meeting of the Town Council.
