
The prestigious Douglas Town Hall will undergo a facelift next year.
Douglas Corporation will spend around three hundred thousand pounds on improvements to its headquarters.
The main bulk of the work, which should start in January, will be on the outside of the building.
Council Leader, David Christian, says it's a protected building which is expensive to maintain:
