Longer season would give more people a chance to see sites
The political member with responsibility for tourism on the Isle of Man hopes visitor attractions will consider extending their opening times.
Visit Isle of Man is currently looking for businesses to offer reduced or free entry to Manx residents as part of the 'On Your Doorstep - One Big Weekend' - a two-day event showcasing tourist activities and sites.
The Manx Museum has recently been opening on Sundays, while the prospect of extending Sunday hours to other sites was discussed in the House of Keys this week.
