As demand for breaks from overseas visitors increases
Tourism businesses on the Isle of Man ‘desperately’ need clarity on when, and how, the border policy will relax.
That’s the message from the owner of Island Escapes which has seen demand for holiday accommodation rise to pre-pandemic levels, despite the borders remaining closed.
It’s been attributed to positive vaccination development, talk of summer ‘staycations’ and press coverage around how the Island has navigated the Covid-19 pandemic.
