Fewer to attend hub schools and garden centres close
New lockdown restrictions came into force at midnight last night.
Parents are urged to only send their child to hub schools if absolutely necessary and secondary age students and staff are 'strongly advised' to wear face coverings.
Education Minister Dr Alex Allinson says 'if any student is experiencing symptoms such as a temperature, a new and persistent cough, or the loss of their sense of smell they should not enter their school and call Covid-111 for advice'.
In other guidance, garden centres are to close, while hardware stores and builder's merchants remain open for tradespeople, and can offer click and collect services to others.
Chief Minister Howard Quayle also said people should not go shopping for anything that isn't essential.
