Ground soft after recent rain
The 5th Tough Mann Adventure Challenge takes place at Ballamoar Farm near Ballabeg this afternoon.
The 10km off-road race over rugged terrain with obstacles to tackle has attracted over 400 entries - with the toughest of the tough opting to brave a second lap.
Competitors dash off the starting block at 1pm.
Organiser Kez Wardell says the recent wet weather has made the ground very soft, so it could be a mud bath:
