If accepted, nurses pay offer will have to found in existing budgets
Treasury is doing as much as possible to support Manx Care in resolving the current situation with nurses on the Isle of Man but it will mean tough decisions have to be made.
Alex Allinson's comments come as planned strike action next week is paused while a new pay offer is considered.
The minister won't reveal the figures involved but says people need to remember money doesn't magically appear.
Dr Allinson says if this offer is accepted the cash needed will have to be found within existing budgets:
