
Pupils at QEII High School, Peel have been awarded a coveted prize for being the 'greenest' school in the British Isles.
The EDF Energy Greener Schools Award is given to the school judged to have the most 'inspirational' environmental projects.
Students at QEII have undertaken many schemes, including 'Goodbye Standby' which involves turning off computers, instead of leaving them on standby, and growing their own produce in the school greenhouse.
