
The Island's National Sports Centre has been officially recognised as one of the best sport and recreation facilities in the British Isles.
The accolade comes following an independent assessment under the Quest scheme, which marks over 800 centres across the UK, on every aspect of their service.
The NSC achieved a mark of 87 per cent, rating it the second best in the British Isles.
NSC Manager Carl Glover says the award is a testiment to the hard work of all the centre's staff (audio file attached):
