Too soon to say if Finnish TT rider will have permanent vision problems

Erno Kostamo to undergo third surgery at the end of this month

A Finnish TT rider is scheduled to have a third surgery on his thigh at the end of the month. 

Erno Kostamo, who returned home last month, posted an update on Facebook saying his recovery is off to a good start. 

However, a blow to his head during a fall in the 11th Milestone in the second lap of the Senior Race has caused vision problems in his right eye. 

At this stage, he says, it's still too early to know if there will be any permanent damage.
