Too early to price up King's visit says chief minister

Policing bill for a previous visit by Queen Camilla was £123K

It is too early to say how much the Lord of Mann's visit to the Island cost taxpayers. 

Chief Minister Alfred Cannan was asked about the bill for the Royal visit in Tynwald (21 July). 

King Charles visited the Island on 14 July. 

Mr Cannan told members when a full cost is calculated it will be published. 

However he told his political colleagues he's 'not sure you can attach a value' to the visit given the joy it brought many Islanders:
