Castletown is the centre of the tin bath racing world today.
Competitors will battle it out in the chilly waters of the harbour in the annual World Tin Bath Championships.
The aquatic extravaganza features the traditional bath races, the snake race and a new event for this year, a production bath sprint.
Organiser David Callister says one of his favourite events, human-powered flight, has attracted a number of entries keen to pick up the huge prize (play audio file):
