Politicians back calls to review six week requirement
The requirement for government business to spend six weeks on a public register is ‘excessive’ and will be reviewed.
Politicians have voted to refer the matter to the Standing Orders Committee.
The Register of Business lists upcoming business items for Tynwald – it was introduced in September last year and was designed to publish motions, and questions for written answer, well in advance of sittings.
