Mayor's fund raising event for charities
The rarefied surroundings of Douglas council chamber will be open to the public this afternoon (24 July).
The mayor and mayoress are hosting a traditional afternoon tea to raise funds for three Island charities.
Their charity appeal this year is benefiting Anthony Nolan Isle of Man, Naseem’s Manx Brain Tumour Trust and Manx Decaf, which supports those living with Alzheimer’s disease.
The event starts at 2.30pm and you can book a place by calling 487487 or 499521.
