Time flies in Ballasalla

Newly repaired clock unveiled

Time flies when you’re having fun - and it will again in Ballasalla from tomorrow morning (Monday).

Education and Children Minister Graham Cregeen is due to unveil a newly repaired clock on the Ballasalla School clock tower.

It’s not been working for years but apprentices at Ronaldsway Aircraft Company have come to the rescue.

To mark the occasion, the school is holding an open morning from 9.30am with members of the community, pupils, parents and staff, past and present, all invited for a tour of the school before the official unveiling at a quarter past 10 (10.15am).
