Chief Minister in Liverpool for ground-breaking at new site
The Chief Minister is among Manx and UK politicians in Liverpool, celebrating a ground-breaking at the site of the new landing stage.
Described as a "sign of faith" from the Isle of Man to its relationship with Liverpool by deputy mayor of the city, part of the proceedings saw Howard Quayle present a time capsule to the contractors.
Among other things, it's filled with eel grass, a Manx coin, a newspaper from Henry Bloom Noble Primary School, and a Manx flag.
Mr Quayle says the capsule will be buried for up to forty years somewhere on the building site:
