Trio were clinging on when Coastguard and Lifeboat teams arrived
Three youths clinging on to the cliffs at Marine Drive had to be rescued by Douglas Coastguard.
Teams from the coastguard and Douglas lifeboat were called out yesterday afternoon after the group got stuck on the cliff just before the toll gates.
The rescue crews decided it was safer to lower two into the lifeboat at the bottom, while the third was recovered back to the top by the coastguard.
The coastguard says the trio had a lucky escape, as they were all in a dangerous position when officers arrived at the scene.
The whole operation took around an hour.
