Ronaldsway airport conducted a 'thorough investigation' after an aircraft landed on the wrong runway last year.
The incident, on 29 August 2022, has been under the scrutiny of the Air Accident Investigation Branch.
In a statement provided to Manx Radio the Department of Infrastructure said: “This occurrence involved an aircraft which landed on a different runway than it had been cleared to land on, circumstances which required reporting to the AAIB.
"The airport conducted a thorough investigation following its standard safety management procedures and all necessary follow-up actions were taken.”
