
Chris Thomas is the new member of the House of Keys.
He won the Douglas West by-election with 676 votes, with his closest rival John Skinner nearly 300 votes behind.
Clive Dawson was third in the polls, while Quintin Gill came fourth.
Turnout in the election was rather poor, with only 39 per cent of the constituency voting.
